The storm chase season has offically begun. A trough system continues to make its way eastward into the plains. It looks like there may be enough moisture in the afternoon for severe potential. As a result, there is a slight risk today for north west Texas and for western Oklahoma. The tornado risk is currently at 2% for that area. Central Texas also has a chance for some severe weather as well.
